Since I was young superheroes and comic books have had a massive influence on my art, from the classic comic book style everyone knows to the wide range of styles and mediums used in comics today. Women in comics are a particular interest of mine, both symbols of female strength and empowerment but simultaneously hypersexualised in a male dominant industry. Most of my comic book and superhero related work is for my own enjoyment though the idea of working with some of the largest comic companies in the world has been a lifelong dream of mine.
